With a name like that, I had to check this out.
Glad I did as 'Don't Go Out Tonight' is an intriguing low-key song built around a simple drum beat but building up into something glorious through almost endless multi-tracking of Mr Idiot Glee's voice.
It starts with a simple double-tracked, reverb-heavy voice in the first verse, adding harmonies and lovely wailing and the occasional daub of xylophone, it's really quite lovely, aiming for classic songwriting but with an interesting approach to the sound.
Out as a 7" on Small Plates - available for pre-order here. I've ordered mine.
