Despite having a nagging sense of distrust about them, I have to admit that The Horrors and their associates keep coming up with interesting music.

The latest is Cat's Eyes, the side project of Faris Badwan. It's an only slightly gothic take on sixties girl group sounds.

'I'm Not Stupid' - recorded here as a live session with a choir as added backing - is a swooning sad girl ballad. Rather lovely it is too.
