New Music - Friendly Fires 'Hawaiian Air' (XL, 2011)

Friendly Fires have leaked up another track, presumably to reassure anyone (like me) who thought 'Live Those Days Tonight' was slightly under-whelming and was wavering about the new album 'Pala'.

'Hawaiian Air' is an insistent stormer. Its euphoric vocal and stumbling-through-the-club rhythm giving way to a euphoric, sweeping chorus and the rush building to a peak as the track progresses.
